This problem is far bigger than most people realize.
Social media isn’t just a source of entertainment anymore. It’s a psychological environment—one that’s training millions of people to crave negative dopamine.
Outrage.
Frustration.
Conflict.
The algorithms don’t reward peace, clarity, or growth. They reward attention. And nothing hijacks attention faster than anger, fear, and resentment.
Nowhere is this more damaging than in dating and relationships.
Most men don’t wake up intending to become bitter or cynical. It happens slowly. One clip turns into another. One “relatable” rant turns into a steady drip of content telling them they’re doomed, disrespected, or invisible.
Over time, that emotional state becomes familiar. Comfortable, even.
That’s negative dopamine at work.
Instead of motivation, it produces agitation. Instead of confidence, it creates paralysis. Men stay stuck in analysis, scrolling endlessly, consuming content that confirms their frustration while quietly draining their agency.
The scariest part? Most guys don’t even realize it’s happening.
They’re on autopilot—being force-fed video after video that reinforces the same emotional loop: anger, resentment, and hopelessness. Not because it’s true, but because it keeps them engaged.
This is how a mental prison is built. Not with bars or locks, but with algorithms that profit from keeping you emotionally reactive and mentally stalled.
And if you don’t consciously interrupt the cycle, it only gets worse.
Awareness is the first step. Once you see the pattern, you can’t unsee it. You can choose what you consume, how you think, and how you show up in your relationships.
I break this entire dynamic down—what’s happening, why it works, and how to step out of it—in my newest YouTube video.
If you’re tired of feeling stuck, it’s time to take your mind back.
